Sandplay
 Active Sandplay is one of the most penetrating ways to clear
deep blocks, be they personal or spiritual. In the sand the psyche
states it as it is. Our truth, lying in the unconscious, speaks
to us most clearly. The pieces we find and the way we place them
in a tray of sand are symbolic of our lives and beliefs. Sandplay
is the most crucial tool in bringing the structure of personality
into greater clarity. It helps us to unravel the way our egos were
formed and to access the more vulnerable levels that would normally
spoil our relationships. We recommend sandplay for spiritual as
well as personal work, for children and, in the most fruitful way,
for healing rifts in relationship. Change is most rapid when we
can commune directly with the unconscious.
Sandplay is the most profound tool for self-discovery. The pieces
and the arrangement clearly show psychic complexities and connections
which are normally unconscious. There is no other technique that
can show us so much, so succinctly and yet unobtrusively.
We call this Active Sandplay because we support you to recognise
and understand the messages from the unconscious. The many processing
techniques that underlie this support are taught in the Facilitators
Training. They bring understanding into the deepest core of body,
mind and emotions. From this space profound and permanent healing
is possible, even when caused by birth or separation from soul.
When used in a gentle and playful way it is a most effective tool
to help children, and to deal with the frustrations of relationship.
Benefit, outcome
 Sandplay offered in private sessions at the CC or the CCS, and
in workshops for personal development. On the personal level Sandplay
offers the clearest
display of whatever is happening in your life at the moment. It
is a natural, positive and non-intrusive tool with children, yet
extraordinarily healing. Sandplay bypasses language and gets directly
to the issue.
We offer training in Sandplay as part of the
Diploma Course. To provide the necessary skills for professional
competence in the application of Sandplay Therapy with adults and
children, singly and in relationship. You will be able to incorporate
Sandplay into your own practice. On completion you will receive
a Certificate for the Training Program from The
Crucible Centre.
Over 100 people have completed this training with us and many are
using Sandplay with adults and children. You will start your own
sandplay collection and will complete at least four sessions with
one client between each of the segments of the course, and present
the results to the group for discussion. You will be presented with
a certificate on completion of this course.
A major aim of the Training is to help clarify personal issues,
for little can be achieved if your sorrow and anger gets triggered
by theirs.
