From Sydney
Via Great Western Highway. Go through Katoomba and on to Mt Victoria. At the (only) set of traffic lights turn right and proceed to Bell along the Darling Causeway 6.1k's . At the Hartley Vale turn off (the only road on left after you leave Mt Victoria) turn left and go down the road 4.3k's until you get to the Comet Inn.
Via Richmond and the Bells Line of Road. Go through Bilpin and Mt Tomah then on to Bell. At the intersection in Bell turn left to Mt Victoria along the Darling Causeway 4k's. Turn right at the Hartley Vale turn off (the only road on your right after you leave Bell) turn right and go down the road 4.3k's until you get to the Comet Inn.
At the Comet Inn corner on the East side go through the gate where there are several letter boxes. Proceed along this road at say 40kph as there are often kangaroos along the way. Once you get to the second gate you are now entering the Crucible property at 2.7k's. If you are staying at the Hut you can park there and look accross the valley floor and you will see the main house where the workshop will be held. Another 1.1k's to the dam this time keeping a look out for cattle as well! If you are staying at the “Lodge” turn left at the dam and park on the other side of the paddock where the road leaves the clearing. 100mtrs walk along the road and the main house is in front of you and the “Lodge” is up on your right.

What to Bring
Warm clothes, thick socks, spare pair of slip on shoes, 1 pillow slip,2 sheets and blankets or a sleeping bag, a towel, A3 sketch book,crayons, journal and a pen. If your not sure about something then give us a call.
